Each piece reveals a different facet of his choreographic language, from playful and light to intense and exuberant. The evening is complemented by a film by Kylián, offering another perspective on his vision of time, body and movement.

Jiří Kylián
Kinderspelen shows the playful logic of childhood and the choreographic imagination that emerges from play and rhythm. In Petite Mort, the energy shifts towards tension and surrender, where bodies move between vulnerability and strength to music by Mozart. Chapeau forms an exuberant finale, a festive tribute full of humour, detail and musical energy.
The works reveal how Kylián continuously explores the relationship between music, movement and space. His dance language is both precise and emotional, and remains globally influential in the way it connects the everyday with the theatrical. The evening is complemented by the film Scalamare, in which Kylián explores time itself through an encounter between past and present. Together, this creates a multifaceted portrait of a choreographer who places the moment at the core of his work.
