Rodrigues starts from his late father’s notebook, in which almost no full sentences remain, only traces of a final attempt to speak. On stage, he reshapes that absence, not by reconstructing the past, but by letting it move through music, language and image.

Each scene approaches death not as an end, but as something that keeps returning in stories, songs and memories. The stage turns into a strange landscape where hospital beds seem to drift across a sea of ice, fragile, absurd and yet alive.
No Yogurt for the Dead is not a traditional memorial, but an attempt, through theatre, to hold on to something that has already disappeared. And perhaps, for a brief moment, make it audible again.
