In Oh oh oh dennenboom, the perspective shifts: it is no longer humans looking at the forest, but the forest looking back. What if what we call “cosy” is, for nature itself, an inescapable intervention?
Kim Karssen and Hendrik Kegels build a playful, musical and absurdist world in which the forest talks back. Humour opens the door, but behind it lies an uneasy question: how natural is it really to use nature as scenery?
A community of voices
The pine forest transforms into a community of voices. No longer a silent backdrop to the winter season, but a living whole in which every tree has its own character.
Some trees want to stay rooted. Others are looking for an escape. And some begin to question their place in a world that cuts and relocates them year after year.
