The CEO of a large pharmaceutical company is under threat. After a failed assassination attempt, the blame seems clear: the perpetrator was incited by an online channel spreading conspiracy theories about the company.
In a moment of rage, the CEO decides to visit the creators of the channel at their homes. What follows is a confrontation filled with misunderstanding, old wounds, and revenge.

With Big Pharma, director Eric de Vroedt creates a performance about mistrust and power: “When you dive into the world of conspiracy theories, you enter a dark hall of mirrors where nothing is what it seems. The claims of conspiracy theorists are usually untrue, but their instincts can sometimes be right – even if they are often paranoid. They expose how we are, more often than we admit, not critical enough of the systems around us.”
