De Staat van de Stad 2025
In a city full of diversity, we look for what brings us together. Because solidarity and curiosity are not a luxury, but conditions for becoming resilient - against exclusion, polarisation and insecurity. Resilience means: standing firm in a world that is constantly changing. This starts close by - in your neighbourhood, your network, your city - and extends to global challenges. In 2025, we explore how curiosity about each other and about difference contributes to community, well-being and urban resilience.

About Lieve Stad, 750
This performance is part of Lieve Stad, 750, a joint theater festival of Internationaal Theater Amsterdam and Meervaart. In honor of 750 years of Amsterdam, we are celebrating an extra-large edition in May with more than 50 performances in 14 theaters throughout the city. The festival brings everything together: the artists, the stages, the stories and the audience. We honor the city's rich traditions, but also give space to new voices and perspectives. Together we make Amsterdam - and we celebrate it.
Celebrate art. Celebrate the city. Celebrate together.
