With ITA, Ivo van Hove was the first in the world to be given the rights to bring Hanya Yanagihara's global bestseller A Little Life to the stage. The play is an intense and raw account of the lifelong friendship between four men in New York, and casts light on the harrowing, traumatic childhood of its central character, Jude. In 2019 Ramsey Nasr received the Louis d’Or, the award for the most impressive leading role by a male actor, for his portrayal of Jude.

A Little Life was acclaimed by the press from Amsterdam to New York. The production travelled the world and was seen in Barcelona, Paris, Adelaide and New York, among other cities. More than 50,000 people saw it at home and abroad.
In 2023 Van Hove made a new version of the production in London's West End, with a star cast including James Norton (Little Women, House of the Dragon) and Luke Thompson (Bridgerton, Dunkirk).
