Who decides how you dance? Who picks our rhythm? Why can one person move like this while another can't move like that? Is there such a thing as the "right" way to dance? And what even is dance?

In EN NOU GAAN WE EVEN HELEMAAL UIT ONZE PLAAT (een topshow), we end up in an unfamiliar little dance hall, led by a grumpy DJ through every style and move imaginable. There's vogueing, slow dancing, breakdancing, hakken (gabber-style), hip-hop, shuffling, bebop, TikTok moves, and stomping.

But somehow, something's always wrong. A wannabe dance contest nobody understands. Because who actually made up these impossible-to-follow rules in this hall? And why? In a series of whirling, absurdist attempts, five performers try to dance themselves free from everything that's been decided for them.
