Koortsdromen
It is 1985. We are in New York. On the streets of the West Village, queer communities are seeking each other out. Meanwhile, the AIDS crisis is hitting hard. More than 3,000 people have died in New York alone. President Ronald Reagan has yet to utter the word AIDS once.
In Koortsdromen, we follow the stories of a few people from New York's queer community. Their lives are rocked by the AIDS crisis.
-|-
We see how AIDS impacts the characters who have the disease, their loved ones, their friends, family and others in the community.
Meanwhile, angels are looking for a prophet to save humanity from these afflictions. The divine meets the earthly, but the question is whether this meeting can solve the crisis in New York.
