Safety in the workplace
Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA) values a working environment where everyone feels at home and finds any kind of cross-border behaviour completely unacceptable.
Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA) attaches great importance to a working environment in which everyone feels at home and finds any form of transgressive behaviour completely unacceptable. For that reason, further measures have been taken in recent years with its own 'undesirable behaviour' regulation, the appointment of an external confidential counsellor, an intimacy coordinator and the start of a 'safe workplace' focus group, in which employees and members of the Works Council and management team participate. Training courses are also offered on an ongoing basis, including on social safety and diversity & inclusion.

ITA conducts an annual employee survey, which is carried out by an external party and includes a focus on safety, leadership and cooperation. A leadership programme for managers was launched in September 2023.
